Why Would You Join K9 Krew & Friends as a Team Member?

You love dogs, cats, and pets of all kinds!
You want to make a difference in our community by providing top quality pet care and build friendships with the pets you look after 💚
You want to be more active and spend more time outdoors, this is great for your physical as well as mental health.
You have a flexible schedule and want supplemental income (£100 to £500 per month on average, you can earn more but we will build your schedule up as much as you want)
Flexible hours - Most of our work is between 9am and 3pm, and middle of the day gets especially busy. We can build your schedule around you. Busy on Mondays and Fridays for example? No worries we can book you in Tues, Weds & Thurs! Sometimes we have requests for weekend and evening jobs too, we will call you and ask if you are available!

Why It Might Not Be For You

There are no guaranteed hours, and your schedule will differ from week to week, sometimes with little notice from clients
We are known for our heat in the summer, cold and rain most of the year, and even snow in winter! We work outdoors in all weathers
We go to the client’s homes, so you will be expected to drive your own vehicle to each pet sit or dog walk, we do have walkers that use public transport but this impacts on how many walks you can do and therefore how much you earn

Requirements

You need to be a dedicated and knowledgeable (although we do provide training as you go) animal person, and you should enjoy spending time outdoors.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a clean DBS (criminal background) check
Ideally you need a driver’s license and your own reliable transportation
You need to have a smartphone and be able to use apps and communicate via text message
You should have another source of income as this position does not guarantee hours and is meant to be supplemental income
You need to be a calm and friendly person that is responsible, reliable, honest and accountable for their actions

⚠️ THE K9 KREW CHALLENGE:

👉 STEP 2: In the body of your email, please tell us:
1. What pets do you currently have at home?
2. What is your favourite dog breed and why? (We want to see your passion and your knowledge).
3. Please attach a CV or summary of your working experience, professional dog /animal handling experience is prefered.

👉 STEP 3 (The Video): Attach a short (under 60 seconds) selfie video. In the video, tell us:
1 Your name.
2 Why being "meticulously on time" is a non-negotiable rule for you.
3 One example of your professional experience with dogs and animals

I love working for K9 Krew because it allows me to make new furry friends and gets me out of the house for some healthy exercise, otherwise I'd be stuck on the PC either designing games or playing them!

I also get to have a schedule that works for me around my university studies while earning some extra money. I love building relationships with pets and see changes as they grow or get more confident. K9 Krew is a really nice team and it’s great that if I ever have an emergency come up we cover each other to help out.
