Our Story
Hi, I'm Monica, the founder of K9 Krew & Friends!
As a proud mum to two teenagers, two Siamese cats, and three small dogs, my life has always been enriched by animals. Growing up with a grandad who loved to rescue dogs and cats, bunnies and birds I learned very early the importance of caring for animals.
We as humans have a responsibility towards them, whether they are ours or not.
Inspired by my own working experiences as well as volunteering at animal shelters and visiting wildlife reserves in South Africa, I started K9 Krew & Friends in the beginning of 2022 to provide loving care for furry companions. What began as a simple dog walking and pet sitting service has blossomed into a dedicated team, ensuring every animal receives the attention they deserve.

After a bit of a disastrous go at walking with a different walker who my little Imperial Shih Tzu did NOT take to at all I was slightly apprehensive about trying someone new. But I needn’t have been with Monica! Rudy took to her straight away and gets so excited when she comes to pick him up…..she’s very informative and gives lots of feedback and tips as well as photos and videos so I can see how he is getting on. I am very happy with the service and honestly couldn’t recommend her enough!

Best dog walker ever! Monica very kindly offered to take on my chihuahua despite him having numerous behavioural issues. He was extremely aggressive towards her when they first met but she has been so calm and patient with him that he now absolutely adores her. She's even taken her little chi out with them both to help with his socialisation.
Would recommend to anyone!
